Blog Link Directs to Different Page

  • Hello,

    I just posted a blog post and after I published it I went to view the post and it directed me to a different page. Its hard to explain since I am newer to wordpress and not a coder. My website is dfsmancave.com and the post I am having trouble with is titled MLB DFS Picks: 6/7/2015, if you click on the blog post MLB DFS Picks: 6/5/2015 that is how it is supposed to look, but when I click on the MLB DFS Picks: 6/7/2015 it directs me to a different page. If anyone can help that would be awesome.

    to rule out any plugin/theme-specific issue, try:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I tried that and nothing changed although I did make another post and it directed to the right page, I guess its something solely with that post

    Seems that way.

    edit that post, check what is shown as ‘permalink’ below the post title;

    this is likely something like ‘https://www.dfsmancave.com/2015/06/81/’
    change it to ‘https://www.dfsmancave.com/2015/06/mlb-dfs-picks-672015/’
