Hi there; recently (I think following the latest core and theme updates) I’m having an issue with blog/archive pages on this site. I’m using the custom post type “jobs” for all my posts. There are no regular Posts, and in the settings I haven’t got a Posts page designated.

The jobs on this screen used to show in List view, and now they’ve defaulted to Grid view. If I enter the customizer and go to Layout – Blog/Archive, the preview makes my posts disappear and I see “Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.” I’m not willing to try and select list view to save my changes in case all the job listings disappear off this page.

Can you make any suggestions please?

  • Hi @aloeroot,

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

Unfortunately I am not able to replicate this issue on my test instance. For me, the custom posts are displayed in list view, thus the issue may occur due to a plugin conflict on your end. Please install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, enable the troubleshooting mode which will deactivate all plugins and check if the issue persists. If the problem doesn’t occur anymore, it means it was indeed caused by a plugin conflict and you should reactivate the plugins one by one, until you find the culprit. Then, replace that plugin with an alternative one.

    I hope this helps!

    Have a nice day!
