• Hi,

I recently set up a website with x10hosting as the domain host. I managed to set up WordPress on the site, and its been working slowly, but still working. I was editing a page (putting links in) and something went wrong, resulting in an error which didn’t allow me to get into my site, or the hosting service cPanel. I’ve got into the cPanel again, but couldn’t get into the File Manager. I’ve also got back into my site after waiting 30 seconds for it to load.

The problem is, is that its very random whether my site will load or not, and when it does, it takes forever.

I’m now getting this error when trying to log into cPanel:

    Internal Server Error
open3: pipe(GLOB(0x1ac26650), GLOB(0x1aa55740)) failed: Too many open files in system at cpsrvd-ssl.pl line 5760
    ——————————————————————————–
    cpsrvd/11.24 Server at stoli.x10hosting.com

So basically, cPanel not working, website extremely slow, and sometimes doesn’t connect.

    Any Suggestions?

Also, I was wondering how to make extra sidebar modules with the Suffusion theme, but this is nothing major.

    Thanks.

  • ixhosting is to be honest – crap
you will need to inform them of this problem and error

I’m not using ixhosting, I’m using x10hosting. So should I start from scratch or what? And if so, can you recommend a good webhost for me that will run WordPress fine?

talk to the host 1st about the problem – see how quickly they respond and if they fix it quickly
I misunderstood about your host but to be honest free hosts limit a lot of things that is desired by wordpress users – like auto upgrades and uploads of themes and plugins, cron jobs, sometimes rss

I have used ASO for years. They are very cheap and have awesome support.
    I’m not affiliated with them

    also folks recommend
    Bluehost
    Hostgator
