Blog is not working properly

    I just migrated my website from linux hosting to GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress. The problem is that after they migrate it, the blog is not working. I called GoDaddy and they told me that they could not do anything as they have already deleted my backup.

    Do anyone have any idea, why my blog is not loading any post other than the new one. Eventhough the new post are shown on the blog, the pictures just loads.

    – All my post is on my database and post list. Just not on the blog page.

    Well, we copy & paste everything to the server.

    The database is restored using SSH, the rest are just copy and paste. That is all I know. The migration was done by GoDaddy. I only FTP my files from the old server to the new server

    Hi MarcRo,

    When you go to edit a post, is the “Featured Image” set? If not, was it set prior to the migration? It looks like the image attachments for your posts haven’t been correctly transferred across (if at all).

    Do you still have access to the old site on your previous host?

    Yes the featured images are set in the post. The problem is not just the images not showing up, it is the blog page. You cant scroll down to the rest of the post.

    It sounds like the site hasn’t been successfully migrated, or there are certain features/settings on the Godaddy server which differ from your old one. Either way, Godaddy should be able to help you out with that.

    Saying that, the post you just linked to seems to load ok for me. So does the post cut off for you when you view it?

    Sorry for not explaining properly, the link on the post is to show you that the post is ok, it is just that the blog, it’s cuts off when u are scrolling down.

    I have contacted GoDaddy Support and they told that they cannot do it. I think I would have to go find a backup to see if I could re-migrate it again.
