• Hi!

I am not seeing my blog post images show up on my main blog page, only in the post. I have found a few topics addressing similar questions, but none with solutions that pertain to my situation.

Is it possible to make the the first image from a blog post show up on the blog page, or make the featured image from a blog post show up in the blog page but NOT in the blog post? without editing the php or css? It would seem reasonable…

I believe it is just a setting but I am drawing a blank and have been scouring my dashboard and can not find it. Am I wrong here?

I am using the Darkroom theme.
When I add a featured image to the blog post, it makes it so that the featured image shows up and then the main image in the post, so it would duplicate the image. i guess the simple solution would be to delete the fist image and change the first image to “featured image,” and then delete it from the post.

But this would prevent me from formatting the placement of it within the post) I don’t want to have to go back to each post I’ve made (ever…)

On my old wordpress.com website, when you upload a pic to a post it would give you the option to “make featured image,” but it wouldnt give me the double image problem.

Hey there, is this for a premium theme called Darkroom?

    ‘Tis Indeed!
I have not had very good luck getting responses from the dev support.
    Any input would be appreciated!

If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
