Blog grid problems

Hi, I have problems with blog grid layout: it showing 3 columns, then 1 then 3 again. If I choose 2 columns I have the same problem: 2 columns, then 1 ….
I’m trying to fix changing the space between columns but it works for a while and then again…please help
