Blog folder is being created every night

  • Every single night at 11:48 a blog folder is being created in my /public_html folder. This causes https://www.mydomain.com/blog to give this reponse:

    Index of /blog

    Parent Directory

    I thought it was a Softaculous backup but I disabled that and it still happens. I’ve been going in daily to delete the blog folder.

    Anyone know why this is happening? Or how to work around it?

  • That’s a weird issue. Maybe you have a plugin that’s causing it. Try disabling all your plugins before 11:48 and see if that helps the situation. Otherwise, I think you will have to talk to your hosting provider about this.
