"Blog feed" and archive/category problem

  • Hi,
    I use Twenty Fourteen Extended, Styles, Colors and custom css plugin, don’t use child theme.

    1. I unchecked “Show Featured Posts in blog feed”. I got the grid. But below grid appears something like that “You haven’t start blogging. Write a post”. How can I delete this or turn off this – its obvious I created posts.

    2. Is there any possibility to change archive/category page (in css or maybe plugin)) to the grid layout?
