• I hope someone can help me. I logged onto my wordpress page at a hostel in China while traveling and when I got home I discovered my blog cannot be accessed. Every time I try to log in or just look at the blog I get a blank page that says:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/jonacro3/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 357

How the hell do I fix this problem? And what is it anyway?

Please help me. (By the way, I think this is the right version of WP, I honestly forget. I got it in spring 2006, so whatever was around then is what I have.)

  • I have the exact same problem. I am using WordPress version 2.0.2. one day I check my blog and poof it’s gone with the above mentioned error! Should I upgrade to newest WordPress via fantastico? Will that solve the problem? Please anyone! Help!!!

there have been *several* security releases since 2.0. You should seriously upgrade. (and most likely that’ll fix your problem.)
