Blog direct from my main website?

Hi.

I am trying to make a blog page for my website at https://www.davidtobin.co.uk The site is made on a mac in Iweb.
At the moment I have just made a blog with my hosting company 1and1 which gives you a good WordPress blog, but with limited templatges.

I want to make the blog feel more like a part of my site, by altering the template to match, but the 1and1 templates are very limited. Are there any better options by not doing it direct through 1and1 and just starting a blog seperately?
