Blog Design

  • Hi.
    I would like to change the view of the blog.
    3 rows in the overview and in the post view the thumbnail a little smaller.
    Unfortunately, I think nothing, under “Theme Design” what the blog is concerned.
    Can this only be changed via css?
    Excuse my English ??

    Hello Ivo, thank you for choosing Bento! By “overview”, do you mean the “Aktuelle Arbeiten” section? Also, could you please clarify – which thumbnails you have in mind in the second part of the question? Understanding these things will help me provide a more specific and actionable recommendation ??

    Yes, that is exactly what I mean.

    What I would like to do, would be 3 fields, with thumbnail and TExt, as a summary page.

    On the side of the blog post itself, the post picture is much too big for me.

    Hey Ivo, thanks for the details! You can control the number of posts in the Carousel widget (the “Aktuelle Arbeiten” section) by adjusting the Post Query parameter “Posts per page” in the widget’s settings. Not sure I still got the second question though – could you please tell me which part of the page you’re referring to? Thanks!

    Unfortunately, I do not find a widget that means so, or a menu where you can set anything that affects the blog.
    Do I still need the widget “wordpress Carousell”?

    Unfortunately there is nothing to be found under “Design Customizer”.
    I think I have a mistake in thinking ??

    If you don’t see the “Carousel” widget, please install the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin and make sure the respective widget is activated in the plugin’s settings (for more info on this procedure, please take a look at this part of the Bento manual).

    Oh, that’s what they meant. I have the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.

    I meant the blog page (current work) itself.
    This is so structured, the above is the post picture, including the text with gallery.
    So the complete contribution.
    So you do not want to click, because you see everything.

    To change this view. I have no plan.
    On the side itself is nothing more. That is the blog on this page is indeed in the general settings.
