Blog deleted, but URL still appears active?

    Hi folks,

    I’ve just deleted https://www.insanitytheory.net/girlanachronism/, in that I deleted the entire folder via FTP, and went into MySQL to delete the database and user that had been created for that blog. I expected that this would result in the above URL no longer existing, but now it appears to be displaying a plain text version of https://www.insanitytheory.net (a completely seperate photoblog run via pixelpost) and I’m not sure why it’s doing that or how to stop it.

    Could anyone please offer some advise as to what I need to do?

    Nevermind, my web host managed to fix it for me! According to him, because the blog was a subfolder of a wordpress install, it was being affected by the .htaccess file ??
