I checked it last night and everything was ok, no issues with the blog at all. All fields were appearing correctly and in the right place.

This morning however, the main content column has shifted below the sidebar for no apparent. I have not touched template/CSS in any way since last night.

    Please help.

    thanks,

  • Have you posted a new post since then? It could be that the big image in the newest post there is too wide. You have other pictures that are the same width though. But usually when a large part gets pushed down it has something to do with widths or paddings when some extra text or something inside breaks out of the space, if it was working before. Usually in IE.

    Hi,

Yes, I thought of that too. I took the image in the latest post down and reposted it. But it didn’t make any difference at all. So i reposted the image again.

i can’t imagine what the problem is, its very strange.

I set my last two posts to draft status and the issue is still happeneing. Moreover, the issue is still happening on single page posts also, which means that something has changed in the stylesheet which is making a universal change on the website’s layout.

can someone please look into the coding please and let me know what is causing this issue?

Looks fine in both FF 3.6.3 and IE7 for me (CTRL + F5 your page to do a full refresh and see if the problem still exists).

    t31os_,

I tried to reinstall firefox, clear the cache and upgrade to the new version of FF, still on my end, its not showing up correctly.

any ideas why this might be happening?

Does it look ok for you in IE? It looks good to me in IE8 and FF 3.6.3 as well. Maybe you have any add-ons in Firefox, especially something like Greasemonkey or developer tools that interact?

I got it. What I had done is add a category whose name was too long to fit in the sidebar. I couldn’t see that because the sidebar elongated automatically to include its name, but then pushed the main content window below it.

thanks for looking into this guys.

    cheers,
    Uzair
