it is too dark, especially with the small font sizes you’ve used, especially in the sidebar.

I looks like a modified “chaotic soul” theme.

Personally, I like it. Yeah, the sidebar fonts are *tiny*, but I still like it.

Well I like it, but will visitors like it. It’s a business site and I am marketing my development skills so it needs to look good.

What elements do you think I should brighten up?

Ahhh…now that’s different. Yes, it’s a little dark for a business site. Chaotic Soul is good for personal spaces and like music/artist type stuff.

As for what to do…well, that’s something that’s a little…vague to answer I guess. You’re asking for design ideas, and you’re gonna get more than you’ll know what to do with.

Me, when I need design ideas, I visit my “inspiration” sites to get ideas about what I want my site to look like. I just visit sites I like, and note the things I like about them. Then I’ll incorporate those ideas into a design, using my own colors, etc.
