Blog creation – can’t access blog – dns related problem?

I was in the process of creating a few blogs. After I created one of them (solares.serviociodemo.com) I realised I couldn’t access it. Checked the dns records and indeed that one was not in place (I can’t create wildcard records).

Created the DNS record, checked again but still I can’t access the blog. I can ping the subdomain etc. The DNS record is working, but for some reason MU doesn’t want to access it. Does it need to have the dns records in place at the time of creation?

I even tried to delete the blog and create it again, with no luck.

Any ideas please?
