Blog Categories

We imported a drupal website into wordpress. All Drupal blogs came in under a blog article, not a post article. When I converted all blogs to posts with your plugin, the blog categories did not change to post categories, they stayed as blog categories listed in all posts. How do I convert Blog Categories to Post Post Categories. As it stands now, wordpress does not see categories under the posts area so it looks like we have no post categories. I can send screenshots if this doesn’t make sense.
