Blog-by-Email

  • I’ve been trying for hours now to get this to work. I’ve come so far that I get an email with following error message:

    Ooops POP3 connect: Error [13] [Permission denied].

    What have I done wrong? What can I do? Is this a problem with WordPress or with my email provider? In that case, what can He do?

    I know this is a common question. I have been reading threads after threads, but I haven’t got any answer.

    Would really appreciate some help.

  • Are you sure you’ve typed in your details correctly? If they’re definately correct then it may be worth contacting your email provider..

    Yeah. All details are filled in correctly. I can receive the mails in Mozilla Thunderbird, with the same details.

    I keep getting these emails with the error message. Why? It doesn’t seem to stop. Do they loop or something?

    Any more ideas of what I could to to fix the problem?

    If I don’t inactivate the wp-cron-file I get two emails every hour. Really annoying!
