Blog author left blank

To add the author at the end of the content of each post you can try using the Custom Post Templates feature.

I am confused. The template I am using puts the author at bottom just fine with standard posts and all my custom posts.

Update:

This is a post created by your plugin. If you scroll to the bottom you will see the blog author is not displayed.

This is a post created by your plug in after I manually set the blog author to Fair Use Bot. Now the blog author is shown at the bottom.

I conclude although i am setting the blog author in the settings of the plug in, the plug in is not setting the blog author. Am i wrong? Is there an add on to correct this?
