    Hi,

I have installed the plugin and looks great. When I checked in the google testing tool, the blog schema description doesnot show the complete blog but only the first couple of lines of the blog.
Shouldn’t it display the complete blog?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks, and great to hear that you are liking the plugin.

It really doesn’t have to show the complete blog since it’s a description of the page content, and it’s recommended property (not required).

    Google define description as a:

A short description of the article.

You can find more about this here.

You can however change the plugin behavior by filtering schema markup output for the description, here is an example code.

    Hello,

Thank you for the insight but there is no code mentioned on the link you gave. The only concern I have is the bot should be able to read complete blog through schema.

Google doesn’t depend on one single factor, I wouldn’t worry about that.

The code is pasted in the page, not sure why it’s not showing for you. Anyways, here is a link to a gist that has same code.

Or if you prefer having more control without having to deal with code, take a look at Schema Premium plugin, it allow you to define properties source and switch between full content, excerpts…etc).

    Hi there,

The contact page schema elements are very limited. How can I add address, phone number & map to the schema?

You can use a filter called “schema_contact_page_output” to override / extend the Contact Page schema.

You can follow same code example mentioned here.

    I hope this helps.

P.S. Please, open a new thread for each question.
