• Hey there,

I’m very new to webdesign and trying to help my parents out with a website – so please bear with me if I’m a bit slow…

So far I love the Bento theme, only two things I would like to change style wise. As I’m still on localhost, please find two screenshots and coherent photoshopped images of how it is vs. how I’d like it to be in the link below.
On the landing page and on the blog I would like to have the pictures left-aligned yet stop before the sidebar on the right. Also, on the Blog I want the date and title below the image.

    Google Drive

    Thank you for your help!

    Regards
    Tom

Or maybe could you just explain how you did it on the exemplary Bento blog

Ok, forget about the blog – I figured it out myself ??
I added the image in the text section of the post instead of setting a featured image…

    Hey Tom,

thanks for choosing Bento! At the moment it is not possible to force an image inside a page’s content to stretch from the left side of the browser window to the sidebar – the theme is constructed in such a way that the content container box will always have a certain margin on both sides, and that margin will depend on the width of the viewing device, so cannot be specified efficiently in CSS.

Got it, anyhow, thanks for the response! ??
