Blocksy is crashing Elementor?

    Suddenly I am no longer able to edit with Elementor while Blocksy is activated. Elementor works fine while Blocksy is de-activated so I cannot think of any other potential culprits. Any ideas to sort this out?

    What do you really mean by “is crashing Elementor”? Everything works find on my side, I just double tested this.

    Did you cleared your browser cache and your caching plugin caches after you updated to the latest version?

    Hmmm… having similar Elemntor crashes, but haven’t tried deactivating Blocksy yet.

    What “similar crashes” do you have? What do you call a “crash”?
    Please provide more info, link to your site or at least a screenshot so we could better understand your issue and know how to assist you.

    To be specific, it is the Blocksy Companion that is the issue. When it is activated the Elementor sidebar (while in edit with Elementor mode) is loading indefinetly.

    Also, when I activate Blocksy Companion I get the following error message: ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’ Though when I re-enter the dashboard the plugin is activated.

    Cleared the browser cache – no change. Not sure what the plugin cache is though.

    @supadventures Unfortunately this is not very informative and we can’t fix this situation without more details from you.

    Do you mind giving us the debug.log file? It should contain more info about the incident.

    Have you updated the theme and Companion plugin to their latest versions?

    I have tested this on my local installation with all of the plugins updated and haven’t encountered any crashes.

    Blocksy version: 1.8.3.3. (Using Blacksy Child)
    Companion plugin version 1.8.6.2.

    Hey @supadventures, it’s still hard to guess what’s happening on your end.
    I just double tested my install with Elementor and everything works fine.

    Please record a video and send the link to it so we could see and better understand what do you call a “Elementor crash”.
