    Good Morning.
I have purchased that the yoast plugin blocks the feeds of my website.
I do not know how it influences but having it activated they block and deactivating it works perfectly.

  • Hi @liberalcastilla,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Can you give us a little more information about what you mean by it blocks the feed? Can you give us an URL so we can check?

    Sure, of course.
I use the plugin wpematico to autoblog from a main website of mine to two local websites.
Since the last update, about six days ago, I continually get an error in the plugin, logging that the feed is repeated. If I disable yoast, everything works fine. When activated, it puts the feed back.

    Hi @liberalcastilla,

    Thank you for getting back.

Hmm, odd. We are not familiar with the specific plugin, but are not sure what the logging means by “repeated”. The one setting Yoast SEO has related to the RSS feeds is under SEO → Search Appearance → RSS (tab), where you can either set some content before the content or right after in the RSS feed.

Could you give us a URL of a feed and the exact error/notice you get using the plugin so we can look if we can reproduce this?

    Thanks.

    Clear.
    the web is https://informacionguadalajara.com/
The error it reports is this:

    Hi @liberalcastilla,

Thank you for your reply. We’ve installed the plugin on a testing environment and could run a campaign triggering posts from a site where both sites were running Yoast SEO. We are not sure where the duplicate title is coming from. Do you have any post in the feed that has the same post title? As we are not fully familiar with the plugin, we also recommend to reach out to the WPeMatico support forums to see if they can find out what is going on here.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you very much.
They have commented to me that perhaps it could be due to an update of the DB that yoast did recently, and that modifies something in the tables for a long time.

With wpmatico what I do is, from a main website of mine, I take advantage of the news and distribute it in two other local digital newspapers. This is accomplished through feeds. Everything has been perfect for a year until the update of the yoast a week ago and the template I use, jnews.

@liberalcastilla Did the support agents at WPeMatico specify exactly what changes in the plugin and database might be contributing to the issue?

Also, have you tried performing a conflict check to see whether any other plugins or themes are interfering with the title output that might cause duplicate titles?

We have a guide on performing a conflict check here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts

    Hi.
I was deactivating plugin by plugin until I got to yoast. Only by disabling it did it start working.

I get this in diagnostic mode:

    Available plugins (3)
    Available themes (2)
    Notices (1)
Plugin actions, such as enable and disable, are not available in diagnostic mode.

Activating the plugin, wordpress-seo, an error occurred on the site. Due to this, the change was automatically reversed.
