  • Ninja Firewall is hands down one of the best WordPress security plugins I’ve found. Great protection against brute-force, directory scans, author scans, and other attacks. Doesn’t tax server resources like some other security plugins I’ve used.

    The free version is fully loaded and is great if only admins upload content. Otherwise, it may block media uploads from Editor, Author, and Contributor user levels. The Pro version let’s you change these settings.

    Highly recommended. It stops the bad guys.
