Blocks Jetpack Publicize and Prevents Posts from Completing

  • I found that the hide the back-end feature seems to disrupt Jetpack’s Publicize feature from connecting to Facebook. I have since disabled iTheme’s hide the back-end dealio. Can you all look into that for a fix?

    Also, if iTheme plugin is active, I cannot complete a new post. It will hang as if it is trying to post in perpetuity. I must first disable the plugin and then make my post before activating the plugin again.

    Any idea whats wrong here? Thanks for help.

    I’ll make sure and bump the developer regarding the Jetpack issue.

    Could you try disabling features in the Tweaks section to see if that helps with the posts?

    “hide backend” keeps me from authenticating jetpack with FB if I log out. Once authenticated, it appears that subscribe2 plugin is also causing an issue. Not sure if it’s related to itheme yet or not. Still working on it. Tweaks are limited to preventing folks from viewing certain types of files.

    If iTheme plugin is disabled, the posts go through just fine. Something with the plugin.

    I spoke with the developer regarding the Jetpack issue you’re having. He mentioned that once you it’s authenticated you can re-enable the feature. He uses it his self.
