Blocks Customizer (Time Out)

    Hi!
    Since today the customizer does not work anymore (you get a timeout), until you deactivate the FooGallery. Then Customizer works again.

    I know it to handle, but maybe for other it’s interesting or it’s possible to repair this.

  • Hi Kolliat,

    If the customiser was working okay with Foogallery, have you made any recent changes to your website? The customizer timeout could be due to a recent change that you may have made on your website. To troubleshoot the issue try contacting your web hosting provider and ask them to revert your website to a backup before the problem started.

    However, if you are referring to the customiser not working after installing Foogallery today, please elaborate further.

    I did not make changes. Just tested it again:
    Deactivating Foo-Gallery: Customizer works
    Activating: Time Out.

    It’s only the customizer which doesn’t work. However, i know how to handle it :-).
    Only thought, maybe others have the same “problem”.

    Are you having the issue in the theme customizer or the Gutenberg block editor when editing or adding a page or post?

    Only when using the customizer.
    Everything else works perfect → also the gallery ??

    I think it may have something to do with your theme or a plugin conflict.
