Blocks cover content. Non-standard edit options. Not plugin friendly.

Why not use Gutenberg WP.com and here on WP.org first? Instead of the archaic edit method that we use on WP.org now?
I have spent 5 minutes with Gutenberg on a new post and I am deactivating. I dislike this type of interface – the content blocks. OneNote has long had it, so I am very familiar, and I already hate it. Blocks are like working with ice cubes, hard to explain but annoying, jumpy, and in the way of each other.
- blocks create or delete themselves as you work – ex. with the space bar. Distracting.
- there’s annoying content/interface overlap – the block’s labels and area that pop up when you click in the space cover content in other blocks. Can’t imagine it to work better on a mobile device.
- Creating and editing is now done piecemeal. Breaks the flow of work, requires more clicks to nav around, choose/unchoose a block, and have to jump from section to section of blocks that cover other content.
- Standards – where’s H1, H2, H3…? What about the plugins I use that depend on those?
- Can’t import images from an external link. I auto-import images from external sources via a (paid) plugin when I post. Now I have to download and upload images manually.
