• After working for months this plug in now blocks all backend access to my site. I turn off all plugins, access is good, turn on this plugin and the login page is not accessible. SiteGround’s GTP Chat (now replacing the once excellent humans at Site Ground) says I should hire a coder to fix the plugin or contact the developer, a suggestion it can’t help further with.

    Hello @michaelgli,

By default your WordPress login page can be accessed by anyone. You can use the functionality to allow access to wp-admin only from your IP address. If you use a dynamic IP address, then you can whitelist the range of possible IPs that your ISP may assign to avoid any problems accessing the WordPress admin panel.

You can add your IP addresses via:

WordPress Dashboard > Security Optimizer > Login security > Login Access > Configure

In case, the issue persists, please submit a support ticket in your Client Area at Siteground and we will be glad to help.

    Regards,

    Vladimir
