    Yes, your post kind of did answer my question but still don’t know how to deal with attack from one specific country.
    I mean – I understand all arguments against that approach but what should I suppose to do if I have like 100 site lock outs, one by one and all of the IP numbers are Russian’s?

    Use a geoip blocking plugin like iQ Block Country

    Or even better hide\change your WP Dashboard login page url.
    And make sure the new\hidden login url is not exposed by your site.
    This will also prevent brute force login attempts from other countries…
