• Hello, it’s easy to put as example google analytics which is an external code, but what about those scripts belonging to other plugins (sending cookies), which they are loaded dynamically in WordPress? Is there any standard method to apply to any kind of script to block them? thank you!

  • Hi Marcie,

According to GDPR we do not need to ask permission ( and therefore not block ) scripts or cookies that are not gathering “personal data” but are just needed to make a site function well or if the data is anonimized.

Only scritps that are “non functional” and or gather traceble personal data like an IP address need to go in the blocking feature.

    Hope this helps?

I think services like AddThis can track people and gather personal data like preferences and such. In that case, what script should we use to block them when people select “Decline Cookies”?

    Thanks!
