Blocking my website
-
This plugin seemed a good choice for sharing my posts on social media websites. I’m using it for a while now and today I was editing a post and by pressing on the update button, I got a message from LinksAlpha that my session ended.
I tried to log in to see what happened. But logging in blocked my website. The URL still showing me the URL of my own website for editing the post but the overlay was all about LinksAlpha. The plugin should be free, at least that’s what they say. Now I had to pay for a monthly subscription. I could not go back to my own website to disable the plugin. It blocked the screen, scrolling was disabled, backspace (keyboard) was disabled and the back-button from my browser was disabled. I had to open up a new tab to re-enter my website url, go to my admin pages and disable the plugin. After that the previous page was working again.
Because of this action LinksAlpha build in there plugin, I will not use it anymore! It sucks. The company should be ashamed by publishing such a plugin. So there’s no way I’m going to pay for a monthly fee to use this horrible plugin.
