  • Hello,

Sorry to know about your problem.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thank you!

    Thanks Usman for the reply

I can not access the site at all so have no idea how to complete the first instructions but i did go to the cpanel and try and rename the file that didnt work tho

when i changed the security setting i think i may have blocked the actual ip address

    This site can’t be reached

    127.0.0.1 refused to connect.
    Try:
    Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
    ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

    still saying this

In the Cpanel i deleted the security plug in but still cant get in

    Hello,

If you are unable to log in even after deleting the plugin then I highly suggest you contact the support/author of the plugin to get this issue resolved.

    Regards,

    Usman

I also ticked the brute force option in Wp all in one security and had the site moved to the following address but even that just directs me to the site and not the admin

    Hi,

In the cPanel use File Manager and check the file called wp-security-log.txt located in wp-contentplugins all-in-one-wp-securitylogs and look for your IP address in this file.

If you find the IP there then read this article to unblock yourself: https://cmattoon.com/unblocking-your-ip-address-in-the-wordpress-all-in-one-security-plugin/ (I found it using google).

    Thank you,

    Usman
