  • Hi @davidbowen,

In Wordfence 7 you can find Blocked IPs in the section Firewall > Blocking.

If you prefer to have a link to Blocking in the left navigation as it used to be in earlier versions of Wordfence:
    1. On the “Blocking” page click “Blocking Options”
    2. In the “General” section of this page select “Display top level Blocking menu option”
    3. Hit “Save Changes”

This can also be done from the “Wordfence –> Dashboard –> Global Options” page:
    1. Go to the “View Customization” section
    2. Tick the “Display “Blocking” menu item” checkbox
    3. Hit “Save Changes”

That’s were I thought it was. Problem is it’s not showing any blocked IPs and I know for sure that an IP has been blocked. I’ve got the same problem on a few sites so I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict.

Also, tried a couple of different browsers just to be sure…

    Hi @davidbowen,

Could it be that by the time you check the offending IP has automatically been unblocked?

What value did you set for the “Amount of time a user is locked out” parameter?

It’s set to 60 days. I have the plugin overview set up on the WP admin dashboard and can see the Top 5 IPs Blocked. Problem is none of these is visible in Firewall>Blocking

    Hi @davidbowen,

Can you see any errors in the browser console when you’re on the “Blocking” page?

Could you please try temporarily switching to a default theme or disabling all other plugins and reactivating them one by one to see if the issue is related to a conflict?

To do so I recommend the “Health Check” plugin which allows you to disable all plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.

Hi, no console errors. I’m nervous of installing yet another plugin as it’s a live site generating daily sales

    Hi @davidbowen,

Can you confirm that the offending IP appears in the Live Traffic stream?

In order to find it please use the “Advanced Filters” feature (Show Advanced Filters) and add a filter based on the IP address in question (“IP = X.X.X.X”).

If you see it there, could you please confirm the “blocked” reason?
