    Hi vedsegaard,

    Thanks for your reporting.

    When someone try to login from the permitted country and the number of fails reaches “Max number of failed login attempts per IP address“, that permitted country appears to “Blocked by countries“.

    This is the specification. I think you can find “failed” in the “Login form” on “Logs” tab. Could you check it?

    I’m afraid that you missed to find it because the number of logs in each end point (e.g. Comment post, XML-RPC, Login form, Admin area) is limited to 100. So I recommend you to backup your logs into some files using custom filter hook ip-geo-block-backup-dir. Please refer to this document.

    Thanks.

    Its not a big problem, just show wrong information, rigth now (I did reset it yesterday) there is 66 blocked IPs.
    CN= 62%
    US= 16,7%
    and more, but DK 7,5% is wrong, none are blocked from DK, but 7,5% logins are correct.

    The plug-in function wery well, and block all I want to be blocked, that is every thing that dosent come from Scandinavia.
    S? CN, US, FR ect. is all blocked.

    The string GET[80]:/wp-login.php are most common used in the block list.

    Thank you for your detailed explanation.

    You mean that you want to block other than Scandinavia e.g. Sweden(SE), Norway(NO) and Denmark(DK). But you found DK in “Blocked by country” while you could not find DK in “Login form” on “Logs” tab.

    Mmm… Unfortunately I have not found a bug until now. But I’d keep inspecting my code.

    I appreciate your tolerance.
    Thanks again.

    Well, its not a really bug, the plugin function wery good.
    The data for DK, is not blocked, and thats correct, but its not what it says.

    Thank you so much for your capturing the chart.
    I agree with you that the blocking functionality itself is OK, but saving data for chart or something may not be implemented properly.

    I keep going on this topic.

    Hello @vedsegaard,

    Sorry but I’ve not found the cause and solution yet. I just came back to this thread as a reminder to myself.

    Thanks.
