Hi. I am trying to set up a visibility preset in Full Site Editing (built on Twenty Twenty Three) for a client page in which I want the featured image block to disappear if a given article has no featured image. However, the visibility preset controls don’t seem to be appearing in the correct place; they’re either missing or stuck someone BEHIND the interface panel. See attached image. Also, help!

    Hi @generalmemetics,

Thanks for reporting this bug. I will look into a fix, but in the meantime, you can access the Visibility Presets modal from the post/page editor and you should be able to configure presets without any issues. You can then go back to the Site Editor and select from your saved presets.

Let me know if you run into any issues with this workaround and I will follow up once I have an ETA on a solution to the root issue.

    Best,
    Nick

Hi — thanks so much (and hats off to you for your incredible work developing all these killer plugins, they’re great). I’m actually making templates for the home page and archive page (I mistakenly wrote “client page” — I should have written “client website”) … so I may have to wait until the fix comes down the line. Thanks for the update, much appreciated.

I’ve been able to set up the visibility presets from the post page. It’s a workaround but it works.

I just wanted to follow up and note that this bug was fixed last week in Gutenberg 16.6. Therefore, if you are using Gutenberg, the issue should disappear, and the fix will be officially included in WordPress 6.4 in early November.

    Best,
    Nick
