Hi I wanted to check if the free version of the plugin only sets necessary cookies and then based on visitor preferences sets other category cookies? Or is this only possible with Block Third-Party Cookie Scripts setting in premium version? Does blocking cookie script mean not setting it on visitor computer or are these two different things?

    Thanks
    Celina

    Hi Celina,

The setting up of other category cookies is available in pro version with the help of blocking third party cookie scripts.

Yes, blocking cookie scripts means not settings those cookies unless visitor consent not given for those categories.

Let me know if you have any further queries.

    Thanks

    Hi Dhananjay M.

On our website (ozoniaconsultores.es) we have declared the Google NID cookie in the PREFERENCES section and this, not being necessary, is loaded when accepting the cookie banner. I think then it would be necessary to place in the plugin settings section called “Script Blocker”, being activated, some script that prevents the loading of this NID cookie until the user agrees in the PREFERENCES section.

    Is this correct?
What script would have to be included for this to work correctly?
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,

Yes, you would need to include the scripts in the Custom Scripts settings in GDPR Cookie Consent > Script Blocker settings.

If you are facing any issues with the pro features of the plugin, please raise a support ticket with us via login to My Account area on our website.

    Thanks
    Dhananjay M.
