Great plugin, and love the reliability and simplicity.

We have tested with a custom block theme using site editor. It works great for layouts / designs that havent had any settings in the theme changed, like default colours and default fonts etc. But if we change the defaults colours and fonts, they do not get imported.

I originally thought that it was that the info wasnt in the original xml file, but it appears that it is.

I guess what im asking is, Is there anything on the roadmap for supporting block themes?

Hello,

If i’m understanding this, the problem is the “theme” settings aren’t imported correctly right?

Yes,

I can see the settings created in the xml file that was exported but theyre not getting imported to the destination site.

Everything else is ok.

Im assuming this would be true for all theme settings set in site editor? Not just fonts and colours.

Happy to send you an xml file for ref.

I think lines 4781 to 4805 are the theme settings.

There are no widgets or customizer in Block Themes. Its a Site Editor theme. Testing with the standard WordPress Importer yields the same results as well.

Sorry if it took a bit of time before we responded. I’ve tried importing the XML in the theme you both sent to us, and this is what I got. https://a.supportally.com/i/NdeCWq

Which is the same as the “Source” image you posted here. If I’m understanding correctly, it’s working on my side since I got the same as “Source” instead of “Imported”. Please let me know if I misunderstood.

OK, Im wondering if its something to do with using a local WP env. Will try a public live server and report back. Thank you for the support.
