Newbie here – All my posts have a block quote that automatically appears at the end of the post. When I look at the post, it doesn’t show an inserted block for a quote. When I go in to customize the theme, I don’t see where a block quote is automatically part of the design. How do I remove this automatic block quote on each of my posts?

  • Login as Admin,
    Appearance –> Theme Editor –> Logbook WP –> expand theme-parts –> content-single.php –> remove the blockquote (lines 63 – 65)

Corrina! Thank you, thank you. I was looking all over what I think was the child theme rather than the parent theme. I appreciate your help. As you can probably tell, I’m quite new to WordPress, and this small thing was stressing me out. I bought you a coffee through Ko-Fi, btw. Thanks again!

    Very appreciated @dintroverts!

Let’s amend my answer a little bit, my fault:
Yes, you should use the child theme to make this edit, otherwise it will be overwritten when the theme is updated.

If you already have the child theme in place, then use that file.
It should live in your child theme under this structure:
    /template-parts/content-single.php

Oh okay. Good to know, thanks. I’m not 100% convinced I’ll end up with this theme, but we shall see.
