Block order

  • Good morning,

    I would like to confirm if it is right if I use in generatepress a block of background and within the background I insert a container and add add a header (h3) and a paragraph:

    The final structure will be:

    BACKGROUND
    Container
    H3
    Paragraph

    is this structure right?

  • Hi there,

    this is more of a question for GenerateBlocks.
    But I will provide info here. If you want to create a Full Width Section with a background image then:

    1. in the page editor set the Content Container to Full Width

    This makes the entire page full width and removes the themes padding.

    2. Build each section as follows:
    2.1 Add a GB Container Block to which you add the Background Image
    2.2 Add the Inner Container from the blocks toolbar:

    2.3 inside the inner container add your H3 and Text blocks

    This gives you a structure as follows:


    Container Block #1 - with background
    ---- Container Block #2
    ---- ---- H3 Headline
    ---- ---- Text

    You should add Padding to either Container #1 or #2 to replace the lost theme padding.
