“Blocked for ” is blank in “Increased Attack Rate” email

    Hello,

    In the “[Wordfence Alert] https://www.example.com Increased Attack Rate” emails I receive under “Below is a sample of these recent attacks” it lists the date, time, IP address, country, and reason for the block. Sometimes though the Blocked for is blank, for example, see how #1 below is blank, but #2 has “WordPress New Install File Probing”

    1. July 11, 2023 2:59pm ###,.###.###.### (United States) Blocked for
    2. July 11, 2023 2:58pm ###.###.###.### (India) Blocked for WordPress New Install File Probing

    Is there a way to fix the blank block reasons?

    Or is there a way to get this information in the Wordfence plugin itself?

    Hi @adamwrethinkfirst, thanks for reaching out to us.

    Does the July 11th timestamp of 2:59pm in your Live Traffic page also show a blank reason given? You can expand the entry by clicking the line itself, or the “eye” icon. The reason should show in red text.

    Hi wfpeter,

    The live traffic page (Wordfence > Tools > Live Traffic) does not go back far enough to see those results or ones from an email received 30 minutes ago. The email also seems to have the times in a different time zone so it’s hard to tell which time is which. Is there a way to change the time zone that Wordfence uses in emails?

    I’ll keep an eye out for new emails to see if I can view them in the Live Traffic report.
