Block Editor support

  • Do you have plans to add Block Editor support?

    It would be fabulous to have a new Block – perhaps called “Any Widget Block”.

    Ideally, the inspector panel could show a list of defined “widget shortcodes” in a list, then live display the widget using similar functionality to the existing “Latest Posts” Block.

    Definitely ?? I haven’t had to change to dig into the Gutenberg API yet, but this is on todo list!

    How about adding alignment and perhaps a max-width?

    But my compliments to the seamless integration. I have been highly recommending Widget Shortcode to all my theme useers, and this addition is great.

    Be sure you notify the WP Plugin directory admins that your plugin is Gutenberg / Block Editor compatible.
