• Hi there!

I’ve written a cf7 extension that automatically adds html ids to cf7 shortcodes. My clients use lead tracking software that requires these ids.

Unfortunately, the shortcodes in the block editor do not apply the wpcf7_contact_form_shortcode action. Is this a feature you could add in a future version?

I know I can add this by editing the CF7 block as html but I think this would be a useful feature for people who use the wpcf7_contact_form_shortcode action.

Update: turns out if you manually edit the block it strips out the html_id attribute so the CF7 block cannot be used at all if you want to use the custom attributes that were previously available with CF7 in the classic editor.
You would have to use the shortcode block instead.

It would be great if these attributes were available in block settings.
