    Hello!

We are using this plugin and it was working fine a while ago. However, today we got messages from users that the block does not collapse anymore. You can click on the + button, but nothing happens. I did validate this myself.

I did get an email today that the plugin was updated. It could be very likely that the update broke something in the plugin. But I’ll leave that up to the experts ??

The site is using the latest wordpress update (6.4.3). The plugin is version 4.6.3, both updated today (March 24th 2024).

I hope this can get fixed!

    Kind regards

    Hello @jellet,

We’ve checked it in our environment with The7 theme and It’s working fine. will you please share your URL? that will allow us to investigate the issue properly.

    Thanks

Hmm, that’s strange. Maybe it could be a conflict with another plugin (like GoDaddy CoBlocks). I’ve send you an e-mail with the URL.

I don’t use coblocks and it still does not work. Updated to latest some minutes ago. Because my site is active I rolled back to 4.6.0.

@codersajjad The problems occurs when you reload the scripts. Immediately after the update it seems to work, but it doesn’t.

It seems to be resolved for me on version 4.7

Nope, sorry. Still does not collapse. Rollback to 4.6.0 and it works fine again.

@dhoffmann And if you edit the page, the accordion probably says: “The block contains invalid content” or something like that. There is a button next to the accordion for “block repair” or something. Maybe that helps? My accordions work either way, but maybe you need the block repair.

    Hello @dhoffmann,

‘And if you edit the page, the accordion probably says: “The block contains invalid content” or something like that. There is a button next to the accordion for “block repair” or something. Maybe that helps? My accordions work either way, but maybe you need the block repair.’

Try this way and let us know it’s working or not.

@codersajjad @jellet thanks for your investigation. This worked now. I had to repair each tab. I had only two accordeons with five tabs and knew where they are, so it was not a big thing.

What is strange though, is that I get this notification again today, prompting me to do block repair in the same accordion blocks I already repaired. The block code is the same for the old and repaired block. Some block’s don’t give the notification and some do. I’ll keep you updated if I encounter this problem some more.

I have found why I get the notification. The blocks that I have added a HTML anchor to need block repair. I’ll make another issue.
