I can access pdf file only if Standard Viewer is selected but I need to hide pdf server path using ‘Block all download requests for file’ option.

Does it work if you use Enhanced Viewer at all (even without blocking downloads)?

If so, your settings may just be messed up in some way; try deactivating and uninstalling GDE and installing again, then try using the delivered “max-doc-security” profile. If you get this working you can try to tweak the settings further.

If not, it seems your server does not support the Enhanced Viewer option. Which means the plugin wasn’t able to retrieve the viewer source from Google using your server via either the WP HTTP API or cURL fallback. This could indicate a problem with your web host, or at least, a very restrictive web host.

I have tried that, it works with Enhanced Viewer if I disable ‘Block all download requests for file’ . I disable it plugin, remove it, reinstall it, the same result..

The thing is it use to work fine until one week or so. There are some plugins that can block that particular option to work ? Because I have WP better security plugin and WordPress Defense but I disable it both just to check but still fail to work.

If you would please contact me directly using the form on the support tab of GDE Settings and link to this thread, I hope to be able to help you further. Unfortunately I don’t have enough information here to continue to troubleshoot this issue.
