    According to the iTSec plugin 8.0 release Changelog:

    Removed: The following modules have been removed: 404 Detection, Away Mode, Change Content Directory, and Multisite Tweaks.

    The feature you are referring to is the Away Mode module. So, yes I’m afraid it has been removed. But iThemes also included new modules (like Two-Factor Authentication) which were previously only available in the Pro release.

    I highly recommended to read the iThemes Security 8.0 brings new design, features post on iThemes blog.
