Blix – New Theme for WP 1.5

Love the theme. It is EXACTLY what I am looking for as a basis for my site. Cheerful and colorful. Can I ask a favor? Can you add some comments to the code describing the different sections? Might be a bit more helpful when I decide to edit it. I’m not a PHP guy (ColdFusion is my forte). So, a few comments here and there would be extrememly helpful. I know, I know…even I hate to comment my own code… ??

You’re right, I didn’t comment much, only the BX_functions.php is well commented, I think. Hopefully I can improve that for the 1.0 release.

I have been using Blix as the WordPress Reference Centre default theme and I think it is excellent.

I’ve fixed the buggy archive. All you need to to is updating your BX_functions.php

Problems with Comments…

Hey.. I am a newbie and am having problems with the comments. You can go to https://jasonyoung.org and see what I mean.

It assumes that I am logged in as someone. You can’t enter your name, email or URI.

Any ideas? I have made no changes to the comments.php file.

that usually is when you are logged is as admin…

oops…see your point…. very strange indeed…. will check it out.

Check your user list to see if you have a blank user added.

Hi Folks…

I am having a problem or two. First, you’ll see personalized the theme a bit. The CSS are very nicely done and organized. Thanks.

I can’t seem to get the theme to recognize catagories within the links. Is this possible to fix?

Then IE 5.5 is treating the my site badly. If your in Firefox or Safari everything is peachy keen but in IE 5.5 for MAC the rollover are funky and the comment have the icon repeating over the date. https://www.artchangeslives.com/pages/problem.htm

Could someone please check-out my site in IE 6.0? The CSS may work better on a PC.

I have had some problems with the date. In the single post it is correct

with day,month, year

but in the main page it is

with month, day year,

How do i fix it?

Also how do i put text in the search box?

I am having problem implementing the Subscribe_Me plug in. For some reason it won’t appear when I add the code to the sidebar.

Any one else have success using this plug-in?
