Blix – blockquote shifts content left

I’m using the Blix 1.0 theme. When I have a blockquote in the middle of a post, the text immediately following the blockquote shifts to the left, effectively cutting off (from view) the first letter of each word at the beginning of each line. All of the posts following the post containing the blockquote are affected as well.

Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?
