    How did you do that?

To me it is IMPOSSIBLE to delete the ngg gallery when you import it properly…

I have no idea what happened. All I did was install the plugin, attempted to import a nextgen file. It failed and my file disappeared. That’s all I know.

I am trying to reproduce your problem, but i can not so far. I really want to know what happened, because i certainly do not want this.

Can you remember the location of the ngg folder?

The policy in wppa+ is that only files/folders inside …/wp-content/wppa-depot/ can be deleted during the import procedure. If there is a situation outside that tree that causes deletion, i will fix it.

Normally ngg galleries are detected by wppa+, they appear in the ‘Import photos from:’ selection box like: — Ngg Galleries — Test Gallery / dunamic etc.

Can you remember if you saw the above in the selection box?

The file was inside the “gallery” folder as “main” – even though “m” is supposed to be capitalized. And, yes, the gallery was in the selection box for import photos. I selected “main” and executed. It seemed to finish what it was doing, but there were no images and when I went to look for “main” or “Main” again, it was gone.

As a programmer in another life, I can appreciate bugs, but I’m not certain it is a bug and not something I did inadvertently, although I have no idea how that could have happened. But, when I went thru the cpanel and looked at the file structure, it was definitely gone.

I have a bunch of plugins and I suppose one of them could have interfered and corrupted something. I’m sorry if I can’t be of more help. If no one else has reported this problem, perhaps it is unique to what I was doing and other users should not be concerned.
