    Hi,

My “blc_installation_log” entry in “wp_options” table is 455 Ko, with autoload=yes.

It contains, among other things, a heavy query : “DELETE synch.* FROM wp_blc_synch AS synch WHERE synch.container_id NOT IN” with a lot of post IDs.

I want to keep using BLC plugin : can I safely turn “blc_installation_log” off (=no) ? Can I safely delete this row ?

Thank you and congrats for this great plugin.

    Hi @gdeclic

I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

This record contains a log of plugin installation process and while there is no option in the plugin to switch it on/off it should be safe to delete this option from the database directly.

Note please: whenever doing any operations directly on the database, please make sure that you have either full backup of the site or at least backup/sql dump of the database).

I’ve just tested it on my own test site and the plugin is working fine without it too. Upon plugin uninstallation it should also remove that record and it should regenerate it again when plugin is re-installed/re-enabled on site.

But once the record is removed and plugin is kept active, it shouldn’t be coming back and the plugin would work just fine without it too.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

Thank you so much for your quick answer !

I’ve turned “blc_installation_log” autoload off, everything looks ok :o)

    Thanks again.

    Best regards.
