• I wanted to change my blaavatar but it is not where people say it is in Setting “general.” I don’t have the “Blog/picture Icon” option on the right anywhere.

I do have some plugins like SEO Yoast installed so did that possibly interfere? I can’t find the blavatar option anywhere to upload a picture and change it!

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
resetting the plugins folder by FTP.
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

I had that same problem but I found if I go to “customize” (I’m using a theme by “Out the Box”) and then choose “site identity” it offers “site icon” and you can upload it there then it goes to where you can crop and preview what it looks like as a faviocon and an app icon.

    So maybe check there.

    Hope that helps!

    Peace.
