Hello, per title, I tried clearing cookies and cache, and switched away from plain permalinks. I tried inspect/console and here are the errors. My uneducated guess is changing my settings to show my purchased, ‘parked’ domain name from the IPv4 version (like changing ‘101.102.103.104’ to ‘mydomainexample.com’ is possibly causing the issue. No clue if I’m way off base though. Console results below:

This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”. options-general.php

I think what you say is true, the domain change is causing an issue. More specifically, there is a Cross Origin Policy active which is blocking requests.

You can either set it to:

    Access-Control-Allow-Origin: https://www.example.com

Where example.com is your domain. Or you can set it to *, which allows all, or just remove the rule.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello. Thanks for responding.

I’m not sure where to make these changes. In the ‘console’ inspection area? I downloaded a ‘cors’ Firefox extension and have it ‘enabled’ when trying to view the Really Simple SSL plugin in my admin panel, but I still see a blank boxes.

It’s probably configured on your server, maybe in your htaccess file, or handled by your host.

I am having a similiar issue on three wordpress installations.

After the server migration Really Simple SSL shows blank boxes within WordPress admin dashboard plugin area.

The server was migrated from Apache 2.4. Now, I finally wanted to switch to Nginx. The error appears in almost every PHP version I tested. I tried almost all solutions I could find via Google nothing helps.

@mexxez This doesn’t sound like the same issue. I don’t see any CORS issues in your logs. As the response on the json seems invalid, it’s more likely there is an error in the json output. Can you post your recent debug.log lines here so we can see if there’s a php error?

If you have debugging enabled, please disable it (in the wp-config.php). If errors are echoed into the json, this could also cause issues.

    Many thanks for your reply.

You will find my error logs as follows:

[Mon Jan 23 03:47:02.593761 2023] [ssl:warn] [pid 2420486:tid 140394665744512] AH01909: RSA certificate configured for h512606.web246.dogado.net:443 does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

[Mon Jan 23 03:47:22.743567 2023] [ssl:warn] [pid 2065961:tid 140449932535936] AH01909: RSA certificate configured for h512606.web246.dogado.net:443 does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

I get the basic meaning fo this error. However, I checked the SSL-certificate with several tools and these tools e.g. qalys consider it ok as far as I understand.

Probably an error due to migrating / switching the server e.g. registry still containing old ssl-certificate information?

However, I created a completely new domain and there the issue also happened.

I never was able to figure out the error, and it’s kind of bizarre to have someone else ‘tacked on’ to my original post. I’m marking it as solved and just closing the thread out.

As you wish. I may need to open a new thread.
